Amreli

Before Independence Amreli was under the state of Bombay and after 1947 it was considered as one among the districts of Gujarat. This is the smallest district of Saurashtra (one of the four major regions of Gujarat) the name Amreli was derived from the name Amaravati and this location is famously known for major produces of groundnut and sugarcane.

Basically this region is considered to be one of the oldest spot of the state which dates back to 5th and 6th century, by then it is believed that this spot was named as Anumanji. This location is a commercial centre which has developed industries related to Khadi manufacture ( coarse cotton cloth), tanning, silver works, and cotton ginning. The other attraction spots around here are Gir lion Sanctuary, Bhurakhiya Hanuman Mandir, khodiyar Mandir, and Pipavav Port.

Chavand

It is the birth place of the great poet Kavi Kant. Bhurakhiya Hanuman Mandir, khodiyar Mandir are the additional attraction near Babra.

Chital

This village hurrahs up for being a birth place to the great artist Vinod Dave. Bhurakhiya Hanuman Mandir, khodiyar Mandir are the other attractions near chital.

Lathi

The another great poet named Kalapi was born here, the prime landmark to this location could be the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir and added to it the Bhurakhiya Hanuman Mandir, khodiyar Mandir are also the nearby location to visit.

Pania wildlife Sanctuary

During the month of November and March this location is encamped with adventurous visitors and nature lover’s, this location is an extension of Gir sanctuary that provides a vivid jungle living for a huge variety of flora and fauna. The major attraction and protection given to the particular species the chinkara, besides this there are major fauna amidst this dense, such as lion, leopard, hyena, wild cat, civet cat, spotted deer, blue bull, wild boar, four horned antelope, pangolin, python, peafowl, porcupine, desert cat and fox and insects are the wonderful living things that beautifies nature in this region.

Savarkundla

The major attraction here is the Shri Digamber Jain Mandir, Shree Savarkundla Gaushala is a spot where thousands of cows are cared and protected will be a worth site to be visited.
