Bhavnagar

This is the district headquarters and it is the leading town for cotton exporting trade from Gujarat. Bhavnagar is exactly situated in the Gulf of khambhat with a spread over area of 11,155 sq.km, its natural harbor is an exit for overseas trade from the district. This district has an unique kind of landscape like hills around and sea waters, the scared Shatrunjaya hill rising above Paltana is the most famous and sacred hill of Jains. The view and the spot seems to be so serene and spiritual wherein you have many hill top temples, namely the Talaja temple for Jains and Abhal mandap on a small hill could be the famous landmarks of the district. The next best landmarks are the Indian salt and marine research Institute is also situated here. The major crops are groundnut, onion, and bajra is been sumptuous on agricultural efforts. Bhavnagar

This is an ancient city found by Bhav Singhji during 18th century creates historical values in trade and now grown vividly as a industrial city to the state. The prime trade is cotton and cotton based products that are exported to various other countries from here, the huge trading is because of the Gulf of Cambay and the Arabian Sea with a natural sea port enhances vibrant exporting from the state. Botad

Delvada

Gadhada

Gariadhar

Shree J.K. Lukhi Arts College is situated here, nearby attractions of tourist interests are Shatrunjaya hill, the Jain temples, Shri Adishwara temple, Chaumukh temple, Shrine of Angar Pir and 108 Samvasaran Mandir at Palitana.

Ghogha

It is said that this town was an important location for trade and business during ancient periods. The three ancient Digambar Jain temples reveal Ghogha as a serene pilgrim center. This spot is located on the banks of the Gulf of Cambay wherein it swam in world tourists and pilgrims daily, the major temples of visit are Chopra Mandir known famously dedicated to Bhagwan Chandra Prabhu, the 8th Tirthankar and Bhagwan Nemi Nath. Shatrunjaya

Histories are not born but it is been made by human comes true with this hilly region. It is said the pandavas the heroes of the great Indian epic Mahabratha have sojourned here and have built certain temples on this hilly region. There are around 900 temples of Jainism located in the hillock which is situated at a height of 600 meter from Palitana in Bhavnagar district. The temples built here resemble to ages backing to 11th and 20th centuries style of architecture, therefore it is believed that this hillock consist of temple building from year together is a fact.

Sihor

The town is surrounded by hilly regions and dates back to 12th century history; the temple of Brahma Kund (a stepped tank surrounded by idols of Hindu deity) is the major attraction of visit here, this valid attraction was built by Raja Sidhraj during those days, in the17th century Vijay Vilas Palace of the Maharajas with fine wood carving and paintings have attained history and still exist as eternal attraction to mankind. Valbhipur

This is an ancient town where previously known as the capital of the princely state now exposes unique archaeological excavations that reveals the treasurers of ancient time.

Vallabhipur

Previously known as the capital of Maurya Dynasty and was the ancient  center for learning and was known as Vamilpur. Here, Jain learning was prime note of education, Vallabhipur have set a record over history for this, the famous book ‘Shetrunjay mahatmya’ was written by Acharya Dhaneshwar Surji from here. There are some important tourist locales such as vallabhipur teerth the temple deicated to Adinath Bhagwan and the Museum which contains great values of archaeological findings etc.

Velavadar National Park

This park is a preserved space for black bucks, these black bucks are considered to be the fastest runner among animals, and it runs an approximate speed of 90 km per hour. The men bucks are in black and white spiral horns with seem unique to look at; the Bishno tribes’ takes responsibility over this preserved animal. Nilgais, wild boars, wolves, jackals and large number of birds are found here, the best touring time is between the months of October and June.
